SUNDAY 9 AUGUST 2026: ‘STEPPING OUT BOLDLY’.

In my studies and thesis prep, I have been at work focussing on what it means to us as individuals to be stepping onto our ‘concrete foundations’. In other words, the work of focussing on our identity, our whole being and purpose in the world, our homes, our workplaces, our businesses - our true calling in life.

Through our experiences and our present, we often hold onto multiple pathways, opportunities and responsibilities. Whatever it is for us, where do we step out to or onto - what do we need to ‘concretely renew’ and work with the foundations we have, on a daily or, even, seasonal basis. How do we do this with intentional focus with support of bold faith?

The Gospel passage for today could hold the key, or keys to this.
